No anomalies detected after Fukushima water release

Researchers check tritium levels in fish taken from waters off Fukushima Prefecture at the Marine Ecology Research Institute’s facility in Tagajo in neighboring Miyagi Prefecture, northeastern Japan, on Aug. 26, 2023, two days after Japan commenced the discharge of treated radioactive water from the crippled Fukushima nuclear power plant.
